I Feel So Exposed!

I just put our house for sale on It's the first actual advertising I've done. I feel almost naked putting the photos out there of our house. Like people can just peek in the windows at us. I don't like this feeling at all.

There was only room in the ad for 7 photos, and I really wanted to put in some of more rooms than the space allowed, so I started a new blog to show the other photos and put a note in my ad.

Is this a dumb idea? Please tell me if it is because I really want to know. If it is, I'll pull the blog. I just really, really want to get the selling part over with. Soon. I don't know how I'm going to keep the house clean enough to show all the time! (I do have a life, you know!)

I put the blog address in the text of my ksl ad. I hope that's not against the rules. If so, they will ban me from advertising there and then what would I do?

In case you are curious, or may just know someone who is interested, here is my new blog address: (At least that's what I think it is. Let me know if it doesn't work!)

Let me know if there is anything else I should list that potential buyers may want to know or see. Thanks!

Wish me luck! (Because I feel like I'm about to have a nervous breakdown!)

I think that the new blog looks fabulous and really shows off your house in a great light! If I were in the house buying game right now, I'd totally be interested... your rooms are so big! :) I think making the blog was a good idea as well, so people really interested can see much more of it than just what you're able to put on Well done! And good luck! :)

O.k. you can tell me I'm full of crap but I read it like I was in the market to buy a house. So, here are some suggestions that obviously you don't need to heed.

1. Just put, "lots" of trees". Not "LOTS" of trees. Sounded a bit over whelming. But lots of trees are good. Picky I know so you can just tell me I'm crazy, really I won't mind.

2. Don't say you are sorry about the basketball hoop. Just state it as a fact.

3. I don't think you need to explain the paint color in your living room. It was a good picture and (just me saying it again but) it doesn't need explanation on the color.

4. You don't need to say that you are taking your pool table. That subconscious thought of look a pool table fits there a nice pool table... maybe we could get a nice pool table.

O.k. I wish I could just talk to you because I'm not good at communicating via type. I may be talking out my you know what but just some thoughts.
